Natalia L Rudychev holds M.A. and PhD ABD in Philosophy. Natalia is a recipient of Kusamakura Taisho, Robert Spiess, San Francisco International Haiku Contest, Museum of Haiku Literature and Sakura Awards. She is the winner of The Japan Tanka Poets' Society International Tanka Competition and the First International Erotic Tanka Contest. Natalia was awarded the title of Master Haiga Artist by the WHA haiga judge Kuniharu Shimizu. Natalia is the winner of Heron's Nest Photo Contest, Lexicon Cover Design Contest and WHA Haiga Contest . She received Honorable Mention from the International Photography Awards. Natalia' s photographs were published in Reeds, Heron's Nest, Simply Haiku, Haigaonline and Moonset. Natalia collaborated with a renowned musician Kasson Crooker on a music/haiku CD project Gishiki that was favorably reviewed in Blithe Spirit. Natalia is also an artist, performer and educator with multiple presentations in libraries and art venues. Natalia's longer poems were published in American Open Mike volumes I and II, Pen, Lexicon and Hedgerow.Natalia Rudychev is the author of the book Simple Gifts published by Red Moon Press.
